This another timely topic. I can say from personal experience that the fear and intimidation tactics used against people who want to leave are intense. When I left the organization JW's would drive by my house. These friends of my mother would show up in grocery stores where I was shopping. I actually was visited by some people in field service who knew me from the hall. It is not easy to leave JW's because they are master's of pshychological intimidation and control. One would have to have a strong sense of self, but most importantly a strong connection with GOD to RUN not Walk away from this organization.
