First of all I am not privy to the same information that he is. That is why I tend to support a sitting President when he makes a case for war as I did. But just so you know I dont always support a President before going to war I did not support intervention in Kosovo in 1999 when Clinton was in charge. The "liberals" have been proven right in the case. The war was a mistake. We went based on lies. We did not make ourselves safer but gave Al Jazira fuel to add to the flames of antiAmerican hate in the middle east among other things.
I don't claim to have all the answers but I am smart enough to know that having this republican doctrine of "what ever big daddy megacorporation wants big daddy megacorporation gets" is dangerous for both the individual, for the coutry as a whole, and the environment.
Most Republicans are too ignorant to realize that or just don't care about the future of the country. Its the younger generation that has to pay for the ignorance, apathy and malevolence of the old.

"Great" is a matter of opinion. I think it's GREAT that we have a president with moral clarity how has the balls to stand up to the terrorists and take the fight to them. On the other hand...I think I'm about done posting in this thread...dumb stupid ignorant comments and disrespectful pictures don't make an arguement...they only show that the opposition to Bush that posts these things either have no valid arguement or are not intelligent enough to make the arguement...for those serious posters...find me on another thread to continue the debate.

Yeru, ignoring the truth does not make an arguement either. This president has done more to erode the seperation of church and state than any other - the attempt to ban gay marriage is nothing short of bigotted hatred and comes from nothing more than the imposition of gay hating Christian morals.
As to Iraq I will say this, if you don't think the WMD excuse was a lie then why were the UN weapons inspectors ushered out of the country when they were being effective? Was it so they didn't remove the sole remaining excuse to invade?

When and where in the 12 years they were there were they ever effective. They were lied to, and member of the team were even feeding information to the Iraqis. I guess the fact that they violated every sanction imposed upon them, violated the cease fire agreement (which in and of itself was worth resuming hostilities) that the "Oil For Food" program became the get rich scheme of countless UN officials...and French officials...and Russian Officials...and Saddam and his cronies....to the tune of well more than 10 BILLION dollars has no impact at all. I suppose the fact that Saddam was funneling money to Al Aqsa Martyr's brigade, suicide bombers, etc, and allowing terrorists to hide in his country also have nothing to do with it. I suppose the 1 million dead Iraqis has nothing to do with it.

How does that prove that Bush is correct in his actions? It doesn't you are trying to brag somehow. Using this kind of statement as a trump card in a debate over the decisions of a third party to somehow attempt to bolster your position and impune the other guy are really low and in my experience a tactic not employed by truly professional officers and NCOs.
So if a Navy SEAL tells you he thinks you're wrong is he right because he is from a more highly trained outfit?
