So, XQ, from your point of view it is no skin off your nose that the JW's live a lie, know they are living a lie, and are fine with the lie?
I am with leoalia. The faithful slave is within each one of us. We each have the choice to serve our brothers and sisters above ourselves - or not. If we lord over our others, we are evil slaves, and are at risk of getting a thorough beating from our master.
...unless, you no longer believe the slave has a Master, either....
I've been a slave all my life, and I'm sick of it. I'm working to get out of "slave" mode.
Exactly remember we are the only organized religion other than the moonies that believes it is okay for agents of God to lie. I'm cool with it. We should do it more. I think people don't actually read our stuff or don't remember it. Basically in laymans terms we are an "unethical" religion. Booo Hooo this is war. There are going to be casualties on both sides.

well then in our eyes you are colluding with a very dangerous and ugly religion. Call us whiners, what you will. But if you condone thier behavior and insult us you should expect responses that cry troll. It is standard operating procedure for a troll to start a topic about one thing then throw its own thread off topic with insults and changing the subject. Slavery was abolished a while ago. People found it to be inhumane, a crime against humanity, really. Perhaps it's time to lay this doctrine to rest, along w it's source. RIP. I mean, you do have a working brain, being cynical and all. I'm sure that a person like you could embrace freedom from slavery. There are many people willing to help you to take this daring step into the 21st century.

I find it quite sad that you have come to a point where you believe it is a Christian point of view to be deceitful. I also find it amazing you think it is alright to bend "the truth" to your liking as long as you gain adherents. Jesus never changed what he taught just to enhance the number of people following...even at 1 John 2:21 it is counseled.

Also, wasn't it taught that one of the discerning traits of a Christian is love for both enemy & friend (Mt. 5:44)? To talk about people as if they are "casaulties" shows no thought for them or their lives...whoever called you a troll definitely hasn't been out of line...
Slavery I am black but I can say for a fact that God loves slavery. Thats what people don't get. He only likes fealty. I think people try to make God nicer than he is. Jehovah is not Jesus. He is a totalitarian. BTW how do you quote on this forum?
