Some folks change their avatars quite often, and so I really make no association between theirs and what I perceive them to be like. But some members keep the same avatar for quite a long time and yes, there can be an association made in my mind.

LMAO new light! Hey......how do you know that isn't Leolaia's real picture? Your gonna feel like an ass now if it is.
People think I'm some bendable green cartoon character who loves his friend
Pokey" a little too much.I think your picture whether it is really you or a ficticious.....has a bearing on how people view you whether they believe it or not.
I 've noticed when women here use some hot babes picture for their avatar......they get hit on and flirted with much more by the horny ol' guys too!

Xena: You are definitely not on the list of uglies. Just ask any member of this forum, especially the males!!
Rocketman: You look a lot like Elton John, any relation?
I've been told I resemble J.F. Rutherford, although the only picture I have of myself has been defaced.

Thank you for the massage to my ego new light...lol I was pretty much asking for one huh?
I don't know about anyone else but I do wonder sometimes what people think when they see my avatar....I change it from time to time but usually keep it my own face....does that come across as vain?

Nahh. You get your hair cut, don't you? You buy new clothes. Changing you avatar just shows a normal concern for freshening your appearance and for how people view you.
I'm starting to feel like a wuss for not posting my real picture, BTW. Guess that shows I'm making headway, losing fear of the ol' borgski.
