I caught the end of a "crawler" on CNN today (please don't ask me why I was watching that crappy CNN) and it said something about a stadium being demolished today with 3000 lbs of explosives; but I don't remember where.

And I was in Philly Saturday! Went shopping at the Franklin Mills, Roosevelt Mall, and then some Jims steaks for the road back to the city. Also I attended a 1985 district convention there. Too Bad.

I loved The Vet for baseball games (no matter how hot it got).

I DETESTED The Vet for District Conventions (the heat, the boring talks, no working water fountains).

I wonder if the heat felt different at baseball games because...say....WE COULD WEAR SHORTS and DRESS CASUALLY in 95 degree weather INSTEAD of wearing A SUIT AND TIE?!?

I heard Veterans Stadium was demolished but didn't realize how old it was. It was time it was taken down so no more JWs are tortured there. (It was there they had conventions, right?)

Bayfront Center is St. Pete is scheduled to go. What about the Astrodome and the Silverdome?
