Every single miracle that has ever been claimed by christians, or any other faith.....can never be proven with eye witnesses, pictures, recordings, or any other means.

"Every" one, eh? You must be very busy to verifiy those statistics.

God now speaks through his son by the Holy Spirit according to believers and does not communicate through miracles generally speaking.

I guess some Christians believe that....there's a heck of alot who believe contrary to that.

Those who claim god "rescued" them from death in some way.......can never explain why god allows all the other deaths he doesn't prevent.....including children and babies.
That argument does not make sense. Why would those who were "rescued" have any more information on the intentions of God than anyone else....to expect them to be the experts is ludicrous.

I would have to say that I believe most of us know very little of the power we hold within ourselves, and how to use it. Most miracles we think of have to do with those same miracles that Jesus and his deciples supposedly performed. (healings, dispelling demons, raising the dead, turning water into wine, etc.) We have moved so far away from being able to recognize that we each carry precious divine gifts. The closest thing is intuition and using it to "change" things.

In my discovery of self, I have learned how to concentrate very deeply, and really tune in more to the inner me, and this has brought me closer to my soul connection and the divine. The only very simple example I have of reaching this power, was when I realized that by instructing my body and inquiring about concerns, illness, etc., I have tamed great pain, and caused "changes" to occur where there was infection. There is great power in thought. More than one would think. It takes so much concentration to be able to get to that place where everything else becomes oblivion, and it is only you and your soul working together to get something good done. There must be an easier way, and perhaps one day we will all learn what it is. Most of us think we "can't", so we seldom even try. Even when something good happens, we tend to think it was just a coincidence and dismiss it. Perhaps not.

In days gone by, there were sorcerers and congerers, witches and warlocks, spells, incantations--and they were labeled evil. It is what is in the intent of those using their powers/gifts that we must look for. We hear about these things as if they were fairytales, but there is usually some truth hidden in these stories. Man will worship Jesus and then turn around and burn witches at the stake.

There is much to be said for the "little engine that could". He just kept saying, I think I can, I think I can; ...and he did what he thought he couldn't do. To me that is miracle enough. I think we all have more power than we realize; we just need to believe that we do. Maybe that is the secret.

I have had other situations, such as poulterguise-type demon activity (the kind of blatant stuff that cannot be ignored or written off as imagination....the kind of stuff out of movies) that ended when praying in Jesus name with other believers....and at least one situation where I had a premonition pop into my head that saved my life two seconds later...since my abilities for precognition are not developed, and the thought didn't come from myself, it was as if someone else's thought was spoken into my thoughts, I consider that was also devine intervention, but I don't think that is the "miracle" material you're looking for so I'll leave out the details.

Yes, this is a key area to tap in to (knowledge wise) to help build up your faith in a world beyond the objective (material) reality that most accept without question.

A group of friends I associate with who are basically Christians at heart (in terms of their overall belief system and faith in Christ) are interested in occult activity and pursue the knowledge to help bolster their faith. During the pursuit of this knowledge, they collectively opened up a matrix of bizarre synchronicities that have lead them into all sorts of curious areas. Including a famous occult murder within the UK, which spiralled off into background research into Charles T Russell (the JW connection) and resulted in a whole host of truly intriguing lines of investigation.

My one dear friend, whose word I trust, had a very strange incident involving a camera he owns. The camera recorded a photograph by a canal side, detailing an image of my friend (who owns the camera) staring into the canal. Now, the odd thing is, the camera was in his pocket at the time and the angle of the shot appears to be from a person of considerable height (due to the angle). We have no explanation for this at all. This was the first event that expanded out to form our own kind of matrix of linked events.

My other friends have had several curious manifestations in their own home, witnessed by several people at the same time. Again, I do not doubt their word and trust the testimony of all three individuals. Two were active JWs at the time of these particular events. The one chap has died sadly and the other is currently disfellowshiped.

The one incident in particular involved a very odd piece of meshed material (black in colour I believe), which spiraled through the ceiling of the main living area and slowly descended to the floor and then vanished. Three people witnessed this event. They described the object as being very abstract and time appeared to slow as the material moved through the air. Upon investigation, just above the room where the object appeared there were several serious occult books by amongst other authors; Kenneth Grant and Aleister Crowley. The one book in particular is not very nice at all and is a serious sex magic discourse.

Others events include distinct heavy breathing coming from one area of another friends house. An encounter with what can only be described as a UFO one evening (too much to go into here) .... again, dazzling in it's clarity and manifestation. The scale of which cannot be anything than other-worldly technology. A ball of light appeared in front of a friend within a local area of woodlands. Another ball of light passed through the window of another friends house and travelled through the house and then returned back into the garden area before vanishing.

The list could go on ........

To me, there is no doubt in my mind, there are other "intelligent" beings operating on another dimensional plane.

The term miracle could be applied to all of these events that use matter and energy to produce the effect in a remarkable way.

If you define miracles as "supernatural" events, then you don't understand what a miracle is. You would do well to reread sentinel's post. Here are a few selected principles from A Course in Miracles, p. 3.

    3. Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from love is a miracle.

    6. Miracles are natural. When they do not occur something has gone wrong.

    10. The use of miracles as spectacles to induce belief is a misunderstanding of their purpose.

    11. Prayer is the medium of miracles. It is a means of communication of the created with the Creator. Through prayer love is received, and through miracles love is expressed.

    14. Miracles bear witness to truth. They are convincing because they arise from conviction. Without conviction they deteriorate into magic, which is mindless and therefore destructive; or rather, the uncreative use of mind.

    20. Miracles reawaken the awareness that the spirit, not the body, is the altar of truth. This is the recognition that leads to the healing power of the miracle.

    35. Miracles are expressions of love, but they may not always have observable effects.

    45. A miracle is never lost. It may touch many people you have not even met, and produce undreamed of changes in situations of which you are not even aware.

There are a total of 50 listed.

You are correct in not having faith in a God "out there". The root of all our trouble is the belief in a "God Out There". Do not imagine that you have successfully accomplished a separation from God. You were created as a unique idea in the mind of God and ideas never leave their source. Jesus told us that "my kingdom is not of this world". He also said " the kingdom is within you".

No Not really...just heresay from many JW's who believe getting a deal on a car or a house is a miracle from Jehovah..

I was constipated after surgery one time for 4 days.....I prayed pretty hard that time for a miracle...then Hallelujah the lord works in mysterious ways!
