I doubt whoever has brought about this unnecessary apology from you has any idea of who and how you truly are. From what I have gleaned from reading your posts and the short time we met in person, I can with confidence in my statement say that you and Nina are salt of the earth. Can't wait to see you guys in May.

Your support and empathy for board members who have lived the nightmare you have, is clear for all to see. Passionate feelings sometimes bring out passionate words. If those words are taken out of context or imbued with imagined malicious intent, that is not your problem.

Too many raw nerves around lately it seems to me.

I am truly sorry for the pain this has caused you. I can only imagine how difficult it must be not knowing how to handle different situations. I think you did what you thought was best at the time. I'm certain you never ment to upset or condescend to tal! (cause you really are one of the nicest guys around) I'm sure she is just as suprised at your reaction to her post as you were to her reaction at getting a PM.

We are all "damaged goods" in one way or another after leaving the borg...and some of us keep our scars and hurts hidden better than others so when they lash out in pain we are suprised not knowing how or why we may have hurt them. I think that may have been what happened here.

Your a good person Chris, no doubt about that. And so is tal. I hope we can all get past this.

I don't know if your situation is similar, but at the end of the day, you know your wife better than anyone. In your heart you know what she'll do. And there is where your answer is.

It is a comment that I think of often when I run up against a tough decision, not just for my marriage, but for life in general.

To be able to rely on my heart again and trust it after the WTS has told me that any thought I had contrary to the WTS was evil, is a helpful education for me as I try to become a 'normal' human being again.
