I believe I know what you are referring to.

No one can predict how others will interpret our words. It's why I think we should ever assume the best motives from each other until proven otherwise. I am certain your motives were only kind. Also we cannot control others' decisions about our words; you already know this well. There is great consolation there--so please don't overlook it.

Whenever I put my foot in my mouth (or think I have done so), I remember that public humility can be a very good thing for me, even though I hate it so!

Secondly, if I would forgive anyone else who has done whatever I accuse myself of doing, I can practise forgiving myself for whatever sin or faux pas (real or imagined). Private humility of a sort, I guess.

So, welcome (back?) to the real world (again). We all love you here, warts and all, cuz heck, we all got warts here, Chris... (And some of us got warts on our warts. )

A favor: I honestly hope you will shore me up when I am feeling humbled here because I value your words; more than that, I value you.

Big_Tex, I have no idea what was going on, but I can tell you that you are appreciated on this board not only as a moderator, but as a poster as well. As has already been brought up, you are human.. so don't let it get you too down.. if you were perfect, you actually would piss us off.. Ya know.. that wouldn't be fair if you were and the rest of us weren't!.. OK.. so my joking isn't very good..

but.. I guess what I mean is sometimes we say things that might not come off the way we intend them. That is due not only to our imperfections, but also the ones who take it wrong and then find offense... all we can do it keep trying and move on..

Don't know what's going on............but I've read your posts for many months now, Chris. You've grown up into a fine, intelligent, caring (and good looking legs) man. That's no little achievement - particularily for an abused child who also happened to be a victim of the WTBTS.

And you have a fine wife & lovely children. Good Lord Man! Some of us need to take pointers from you!

As for your past? Yeah, it's there. But you're not. You've accomplished a better world for you and your loved ones. Congratulations on your victories - you deserve them.

I hope you've received many hugs since this thread started from your family in Texas....and your friends here.

Oh. Could you have written things better sometimes? Well duh. Of course! It's the humanity in you that realizes that. Of course, if you're like the majority of humanity on these xjw forums, you'll come to the conclusion.....life goes on.....and it does. (I edited that conclusion, btw)
