funny... it just takes one comment for some people to start questioning and start their own research. Maybe you did him a huge favor.
And that bit about "one of Jehovah's Witnesses". Why do they do that? Why can't they say "I'm a Jehovah's Witness? Is it because the scripture in Isaiah they get this from says, "you are my witnesses" and they feel they can't break it down to "witness" for individuals? or is it because they don't want witnesses thinking of themselves as individuals, but "one of" something?
Just makes them sound like weirdos.

You hit the nail on the head Quotes with your comments re: "pure language". Householders must be absolutely mystified when they get called on by someone who forgets that the rest of the world has no idea what their phrases mean.
