I know this is a common ailment as you seem to hear about it more and more. Mucus around the muscles correct? I would look for homopathic remedies first. Are you still going to Dallas?

Hello Mortons68,
Go to this link and read the testimonies of people who have HAD Fibromyalgia, but are now free from it:
http://hacres.com/testimonies.asp?Term=fibromyalgia&submit1=Search
Yes, the medical community and the pharmaceutical companies are BIG BUSINESS, want to keep cramming drugs down our throat (as if that's a cure!). You would do yourself a HUGE favor to learn how unhealthy foods affect your body. In a nutshell, the TRILLIONS of cells in our bodies are renewing themselves constantly, so when we consume unhealthy things (poluted air, unclean water, junk food) into our system, our cells are not getting the nutrition they NEED to build new, strong, healthy cells. So, over the course of time, our organs start to break down and disease occurs. There are thousands of people who have literaly REVERSED their cancer, heart disease, etc. etc. by just changing what they eat.
I wish you all the best,
Nan

Hello Mortons68,
My wife has suffered with bad fibro since 1997. She has seen all the doctors and had meds prescribed, but has experienced no relief.
We have been working with a balanced nutritional product to help treat her and have heard many success stories of people who are now pain free.
Visit this web site www.relivonline.com/painfree
If you have any more questions feel free to PM me and I can put you in personal phone contact with ones who have been through this and have achieved great results.

morty,
I don't have fybromyalgia, but my father was diagnosed with it. The best thing for him has been change of diet. He has completely cut out white sugar (candy, sweets, desserts) and anything wheat based from his diet (whole wheat AND anything with white flour, which is wheatbased). He has felt better the last several years than his whole life. He recommends trying that for 30 days just to see how your body reacts. Stretching exercise (yoga) is also great!
(Although I have never been diagnosed with fybromyalgia, I DO have a sensitivity to wheat and sugar. I notice when I'm good and stay on my diet that I feel wonderful - tons of energy, clear mind, happier. But when I cheat, I am miserable - joint pains, backaches, headaches, overall flu-ish feeling, extreme tiredness, depression.)
Hope this helps!
Andi

ok, for some reason when I go to post something, my fonts, size, or paragraphs will not let me change them...That must be the spy ware that I cannot change on my computer..I have gotten rid of the hotbar tool that the kids downloaded, rebooted but still cannot get rid of this damn thing....I need suggestions on how to get rid of this.... Now, as far as asking for info on Fibro, thank-you all for this...It seems to me that diet is a big answer....That is what I am to starting today....wheat and sugar seem too be a big culpert of this disease.I am slowly moving down the list of each suggestion of each poster.... I will get to all of them....again, thank you all soo much..
Gumby...I will pimp you out, as long as I get 70% of the profit....lol..I need a cut to ya know...lol....besides, I will have a hell of a hard time trying to rent out one used bastard!!!!!

I totally understand what you are going through, I had fibromyalgia and it took 4 years to get over it but I did! I could tell you how I managed to get over fibro, but it seems everyone has their own path to go down with this illness. I would suggest you read everything you can about it and follow suggestions and then listen to what your body is telling you.
The biggest help to me was my chiropractor and herbs. I wish you well, take care hun!
