i identified with your feelings inside as you saw this fellow at the door and thought about your own experiences. i too, for my own reasons, feel immensely strong feelings about my former religion and the ridiculousness of that religious system as 'the Truth'

Nilfun, no, there shouldn't be any signs...........we have a safehouse in the town where I used to work and when I had to arrange busing for the kids of these ladies, we always had them walk to a corner near there. Also, I helped one of my bible studies who was living in one because of her enraged husband. There are VERY strict rules as to keeping things anonymous. If she revealed the house to me or anyone else, she would have had to leave.
