I consider myself a fundamentalist christian.
It means that we believe the bible to be literal, and that we believe it to be error-free, inspired by God.
It also means that our christianity is the basis of our being. Everything in our lives revolves around Christ in our lives.
It does NOT mean that we spew hatred toward others. It does NOT mean that we are equivalent to the muslim (fundamentalist) terrorists, as my son's teacher tried to insinuate.

Um, sorry there, irishayes - but don't many fundamentalist Christian religions teach that the bulk of humanity MUST convert to their particular belief system or suffer a horrible, fiery death and eternal damnation? Not too far off from Wahabism, if you ask me.
