Just listened to your clip, it sounds very good!
As for "harshness", I'm not sure what you mean. Also, I'm at work, and listening to it on my PC speakers doesn't help with whatever problem you're having. I'll have to wait until I get home, and listen to it on the stereo.
Also, headphones are very decieving. I prefer to do my mixing and effects while listening to it on my stereo system. That way, I get an overall picture of what it generally sounds like.
Nos,
I think your right about the headphones,,, I wish I could reproduce what I hear on my processor,,I would be a happy man!
I bought a new sound card today "Delta 1010LT" I will install it along with a $19. version of guitar tracks by cakewalk.
Maybe if I can get some good tracts I'll post it.
Thanks for all your help!

What might help is playing through an amp, and then micing the amp. If you're going to do this, you may have to experiement with mic distance to get the sound you want. You also don't want to use a cheap microphone that came with your ghetto blaster ;)

I'm not sure if the sound card will make much of a difference, since it's only an input/output device. The most important thing is what's going into it. I never heard of the software you got, but let me know how it goes. I've been meaning to record some guitar tracks, but I want to get a pickup for my acoustic before anything.
