    Just to make it simple, 13 years.

    9 - attending meetings & unbaptised Publisher with parents

    1 baptised publisher / aux pioneer

    4 as a regular pioneer

    out 15 years! Not all plain sailing but very glad I'm out.

    46 years.

    Born to newly baptized Witness parents in 1955
    Baptized at age 9 in 1965
    Pioneered from the age of 18 for 13 years
    Left in disgust at age 46
    And I'm going to be 49 in December!

    Now that's scary . . . .

    If I am inactive (not DF'd), do they still count me as a witness on their books?.

    I was born into this religion so I guess 33 years (although I do not consider myself one anymore).

    Not on the numeric books--because you don't turn in time.

    but when it comes to being DF'd, yes, you are still officially a JW and they will DF you in they catcht you doing something "wrong."
