  I love the way they can slap the "Satan" bumper sticker on anything they want.

  As proven many times, there are no "other sheep" that's just a total out and out lie. So, then, where does that leave them? They are either Christian or non-Christian. If they believe in Christ being a diety then they are Christian otherwise they are not and they will perish according to God's Law.

  I personally believe they are not bearing witness to anything other that WTS. That's not what a true witnessing christian is asked to do. We [practicing christians, or those trying to keep with the practice] are suppsoed to share Jesus with those who want to understand or learn. Missionaries, Monasteries, Bible Classes, Churches there are just too many more to mention that are structured. Then there are the unstructured like friends, family, preachers, pastors, priests, monks, nuns etc etc etc. What do they all have in common? They only use the Bible to teach the Word. The Word as we know became flesh and was Jesus. So in essence the line:

  : is another total out and out lie because they are not teaching the Word [bearing witness to Jesus] they are in fact bearing witness to the Watchtower magazines.

  Finally, spiritual enrichment is that of filling your heart with God's Spirit not scaring people by saying they WILL be saved and that they are not saved and that only by reading doctrinal propaganda will they be saved.

  I like to remind myself at times like this that "Fear" is not of God. When it is meant to be God's word but instead it is one that tries to turn me to the organisation with fears I can claim the statement "Get thee behind me Satan!" For if fear is not from God where else can it come from?

  **Healthy or correct view? Burning out can't be healthy. The WTS is keeping themselves #1 in peoples' lives, rather than letting individuals be #1 in their own lives. The Society just doesn't care about peoples' emotional or physical health, just as long as the money keeps rolling in.**

  In my moms hall there has been a tremoundos increase I could not believe it when she told me they have like 20 new publishers

  Anytime some posts evidence there is a fall-off in attendance, there's always a poster who comes in with anecdotal evidence to the contrary. I would remind you that there are several million professed JWs floating around out there and they move from one congo to another on a frequent basis.

  Ask your mom where these 20 people were a year ago. Were they householders in the neighborhood who were witnessed to at the door, agreed to a study, progressed to baptism and are now active JWs? If so, they are "new" publishers. On the other hand, did they move from another congregation? Does the "20 new publishers" include young kids whose parents just recently started reporting their time? These are not "new" publishers; the former are merely recycled; the latter are captives.

  geez. how blatant the use of guilt by them is to me now that i'm out.

  if i were still a drone, i'd read 'is that the healthy view?' and see "you're sick, because you don't want to do more in the service of our great god."

  ugh, i think i'm going to be sick. no wonder there is such rampant depression among jws. if you start to try to have any kind of life at all, they just slam you down again...

  Perhaps they should publish the attendance of GB members at their home cong. meetings. Bethelites are notorious for missing meetings. At my last cong. 40% of the Bethelites would be missing at any given meeting with the exception of the bookstudy.

  Consider how the WATCHTOWER IS NOW CORNERED, trapped by their own indifferent arrogance towards their flock!

  Once you start ADMITTING this kind of malaise ( and they HATE TO ADMIT IT!), you are getting close to a terminal phase

  in which:

  They habitually nag and threaten the flock

  The flock collectively stops listening

  The flock comes to accept the malaise as common and nothing to fight against

  and eventually, even HEADQUARTERS throws up their hands and says "well, what can we do?".

  and they begin to ----- silently -------quietly--------discreetly--------- give up!

  This is good news.
