  Why would they ADVERTISE they are having problems? That's NEVER a prudent business decision. For the life of me, I can't understand this strategy. What's the message they are sending to their members?
  
  When I was associating in the 50', 60's, and early 1970's they displayed increases every month as proof they were the approved spirit channelers. Now they seem to be advertising losses. Why? I understand why they are having losses, I just don't see why they think it's the best decision in the whole world to advertise it. GaryB

  No one ever considers the fact that maybe it's not the pressures from the "world" as to why everyone in the congregation is broken and battered, but perhaps because there is absolutely never anytime to rest !!! No wonder everyone has ailments and is on medication!!!

  That is the thing the old farts are dead. They ran a tight ship. Satan is **** raping the replacements. There is a ring of truth to it.
  

  This is all proof of my "conspiracy" as some call it. They want to run people away. It gives them control they have shrunk their overhead so it is not like they need that much new money. They want you to jump in a noob off the street, and then wear them to death hoping before the person burns out they baptize someone, and start the chain a new. This way the collective memory of JWs remains shallow, and control remains tight. If tomarrow they woke up with 25 million JWs on their hands they would pull their hair out. I say you wanna do some good if you are in good standing baptize anyone that wants in personally at the beach or public pool (don't wait on the watchtower to get them baptized). Our whole docterine can be explained on an 8.5x11 piece of paper with large type. Why this massive educating work with months of study? The reason it to burn people out, and scare way others before they wonder what is going on.

  It is funny they dangle a carrot of the paradise on one stick, and an exit sign on the other. Nobody has mentioned this before except me and now the WTS is slowly proving it in print.

  Also the great crowd aka the unsaved. I don't know why we put up with this. The watchtower tells us every issue we are not christians. They write all the watchtowers to the anointed. If you notice all their wording they carefully divorce us from the anointed but make us feel like we should do it for no reason the "preaching" work is their Job. The meetings their job. We are not getting anything for all our work. They tell us that all the time. They tell us the righteous and the wicked will be resurrected all the time. Yet nobody gets it.

  Forget if the religion is BS for all the ex-jws. Look at the logic. Some claim we the great crowd will have double judging compared to the anointed when we don't. Anyone God does not kill personally will be ressurected, and finally judged at the 1000 years. It is sad to see a guilt trip working on people that have nothing to gain and nothing to loose.

  Parentheses mine. I am not in envy of the anointed nor do i care too much about Jesus. Notice how the Great crowd over 99% of JWs are not the targets of this article but the implied guilt makes you think they are talking to us and it is our obligation when they print all the time they can't turn the responsibilty over to us.

Jesus' "other sheep" too experience Satan's attack in the forms of bans and persecutions (our only form of attack is by satan is banning JWs, but notice how we are divorced from bearing witness to jesus or the "Preaching" work).

  VERY interesting posts, XQs. I'm going to re-read them later on tonight when it gets a little more quiet around here.......but what I was able to "get" just now, made got interesting reading!!

  Ya just never KNOW who will say what around here, and ya get some REAL surprises some days, LOL!

  I really pay attention when they talk about their own serious problems in the magazine articles. Do you remember that article in some Watchtower back in the late '80s which published how many were disfellowshipped that year and "shocking as it may seem" mentioned how responsible people were involved in wife swapping and other "shocking" things? It think even child molestors were mentioned! That actually got quoted in the network news, as I saw that excerpt quoted on the nightly news and I thought, "That's not good publicity". It was around the time of the Swaggart/PTL scandals.
