Point taken Corvin. I think I fluffed by saying"feel how I feel" I meant "understand" how I feel. my mistake and I can see how that read.
I don't have any control issues, at least I hope not, most often than not, in the job I do it almost feels like events overtake me sometimes, yet I have to take control to make others feel better, healthcare is stressful.
I don't come on here to try and give people some special "insight" into how I feel in the hope of converting them to my beliefs either, all I do and have done is state things as I have seen or felt them at that point in time. To me like most others though it is just made me think recently what exactly I hope to achieve if anything at all. If I wanted to post for adoration it certainly wouldn't be here as it would be like hammering a square peg into a circle. I know I post here because there are some individuals I like alot, but I was just wondering why I do that. (post). There must be something going on in this brain of mine somewhere. Hence the word "Validation" I couldn't think of any other that fits why I do what I do.
This post title should have been "Am I messed Up?" LOL

I first started posting here because of the info on sexual abuse in the WTS and the subsequent coverup philosophy, something I experienced first hand and thought I was the only one.
I stay because I found people with similar experiences in life inside and outside the WTS, basically a support group. I learn every day from what others post here.

See I can feel irritation already in myself, and thats what I've done so many times before, feel irritated that I know how I feel, but can't get others to feel how I feel. Does that make sense?
Feelings, whoa whoa whoa feelings
again with the feelings
he feels in his heart*big finish* and with apologies to lounge singers everywhere.
I'm curious if you see any important difference between "feeling" and logical thought, Scooby?
For instance, in regards an earlier post, you've seen the charges laid against the WT enough to understand that when someone calls the the WT a "bastard" of a religion, that person may indeed "feel" anger at the WT, but their use of the term "bastard" is not just a feeling, they are using harsh language to express their condemnation of the religion, and that condemnation is not just coming from a "feeling" they have, it's based on real evidence and actions.
I'm sometimes shocked at just how badly my feelings had to be hurt by the organization before I looked at the situation logically, thru non-witness filtered lenses, but my exit was based on reason, not "feelings". I'm not bragging when I say it's better that way; I'm trying to save anyone who will listen some uneeded pain.

Thanks Scoob, for trying to clarify. I am still not certain as to what you are trying to express though. I hope you find the answers.
Best Regards,

IMHO, the org taught us to PERSUADE people to FEEL/or BELIEVE the way we said they should feel or believe. Seems we can stay stuck in that mode - remember that whole, "USING THE ART OF PERSUASION" part on the service meeting a couple of years ago? Cult techniques used made inroads in the thinking of many and are hard to escape from. One needs to be ready to admit to themselves that they were/are a part of a cult and then take the steps to break free.

Blondie.....and how tragic is that for you and others that have had to go through that. I'm so sorry.
Six of Nine. You usually reply on threads of mine, with the same tone, and sarcasm thrown in. That obviously suits your style, and good for you if it works in you feeling it gets your point across, mostly I think that style is aimed at not really addressing me, but posturing for others watching. If that helps them then all fair play to you. As far as "feeling" and "logical thought" I like to think I exhibit both sometimes to a greater or lesser degree. I'm not disputing how others want to express themselves as you alllude to, but I wonder about you sometimes. Lets hope you do "save" some people from the un-needed pain you clearly feel/have felt.

This is by far the best posting site on the internet. The posts are very thought provoking and some are down right funny.
The people here all have something in common and I am sure that some posts really are helping the lost souls trying to find their way out of the watchtower maze.
So the short answer is I enjoy coming here.
