Basically, the WTS got themselves in a bind when they answered the pet-blood transfusion question in w64. They say that we can't take blood transfusions so our pets can't. Blood is sacred. Yet, there is no mention of blood transfusions in the Bible. The WTS derives that from the scripture to not be eating blood (taking it in). And yet that's exactly what animals do. Besides, all animals die. They are not included in the provisions of the Ransom Sacrifice. I read that article that Undaunted Danny put the link to. Whoever wrote that, kudos to them. :D I especially liked the part about using your bible trained conscious to take your cat out and stone it. LOL

Great post. What really shakes me up, is that one time I and others believed this nonsense. If not totaly, at least to some degree, we worried over these things.
A long time ago and don't ask me when or from what source. I think it was in a watchtower.
There was an article about how jehovah cared about animals, birds, plants, etc.
In this article, there was a statement about how disturbed God is about our treatment of these creations.
It included a comment about all of the millions of insects that died on automobile windshields.
That was one thing I laughed at and discarded it.
Hard to believe? I am not making it up. Maybe someone with access to wbts cd discs can find it.
