Don't be silly. What is vain about taking care of yourself? It just makes good sense.

Yup! I was at the doctors office the other day and a woman with the hairiest legs sat across from me. She was wearing a short skirt too!

When others suffer because of "taking care" of yourself, it's vanity. Other people need to shower, shave, etc. When you fix yourself up to go to the bathroom, it's vanity, not "taking care of yourself."
