  This disgusts me. I am going to give this article to every JW I know.

  Love & Norris also decided only to take cases where they could prove the church knew its member was a perpetrator and placed him in a position of authority anyway. "Sexual molestation cases are like dog bite cases," Norris says. "Every dog gets one bite, every perpetrator gets one kid. We only take extreme cases where molestation has been reported to the congregation and the organization gives him its blessing by giving him authority."

  Thank you Ms.Norris for all the hard work you are doing , you are very dedicated and you can tell you care deeply for those you represent.

  I sat here reading this , while trying to eat dinner, and it just makes me sick , an 8 yr old girl........I just want to cry for Amy. When the WT , makes statements that this "brother did not have a position of power in the congregation", it makes me soooo angry!!!!! Even if the man had no position at all, they would still protect the man, so that it doesnt , "give Jehovah's people a bad name". Well that is a little too late , because "Jehovah's Organization" does have a bad name. Instead of the WT trying to take the side of the victims and make some kind of retribution, they just defend themselves, they defend the abuser , they appear to me as rapist themselves , they don't see the pain they are causing by defending the obviously wrong side.

  I hope soon Amy will have her victorious "day in court". More power to you Ms. Norris , to Amy and to all the victims.
  
  I would love to hug each and every abuse victim out there and it would be an honor to meet some of them face to face, because they have so much courage.
