I really enjoyed the finale. ALOT better than Seinfields which was so disappointing. What is great is my two best friends came over and watched with me. I made dinner and gave them little gift bags with picture frames that said Friends, coffee mugs like the one at Central Perk and little cappucino mixes, candles, etc. My hubby and step-daughter watched it too and we all had a great time, laughing and crying over our favorites episodes.

Ah, a good ending. Except, I wanted something wackier from Phoebe and Mike!

I loved Frasier, too. It was imho one of the cleverest shows, the last couple years not as good, but still quite entertaining. Kelsey Grammer is a gem. I got to work on one of his flicks for several weeks; was in a couple of scenes with him and got to meet him (I was just 'background' btw, an extra). He was real nice to everyone on set, easygoing guy, very gentle-spoken. Not aloof like others I have run across.

    Talesin,

Wow, that was bound to be extremely interesting. Kelsey Grammer looks to be a very intelligent and kind man even with all the drug propblems he has encountered along the way. Seems marrigae and a child has helped that quite a bit though. How interesting for you!

Yeah, he is humble and 'real', rather self-effacing, no star trip, just like he appears on interviews. He's a really 'big' guy, and with a big heart, too, imho.

It is interesting work, long and boring sometimes, but movie sets are fascinating places! The level of professionalism amongst the crews is amazing. I've only worked on four productions, but had one job as a 'stand-in' for Kathy Bates, that was really cool. Nah, I didn't get to meet her, but worked with the director (a real nut-case), cinematographer, etc. on pre-production and location scouts. It's good work if and when you can get it.

EWWWWWW!! LMAO As long as I didn't have to touch him!

I'm waiting for Nic Cage to come to town, he's wacky, I know but oh my!

Nah, it was a few years ago, in the 90s, Delores Claiborne.

Yep. When I first started working in the biz, I was struck by how film crews give lie to the idea that it takes Jehovah's blessing to harmoniously accomplish the work of a quick build in one weekend. All it really takes is talented people motivated to be used again in the future. Or in the case of quick builds, lots and lots of not all that talented but still motivated people. But frankly, I think the society wishes they had quick build crews with the harmony and professionalism of a film crew.

Yeah, I was thinking exactly the same thing. And the way they can build/break down sets makes post-assembly crews look very sad, indeed.

Ya gotta watch out for God, though! Sometimes he can be very temperamental (directors heheh ).

Bwhahaaaa! Now that takes some guts to admit that Mulan! Did you read it while in line or did you actually buy the rag? LOL

No, I don't think I've ever bought one. I was in a pretty long line at the grocery store, and picked it up to read a bit.
