Well, there is the movie night. You know, someone finds some lame ass PG movie to rent. Usually and oldie because there wasn't so much inuendo back then. ( Anyone ever see "Its a mad, mad, mad, mad world"?)
And we can all make popcorn and the boys can be sure to sit at least a foot from their flavor of the month girl. And I can be jealous because the only person who ever sits near me is my friend's dorky older brother who has never scored with any girl.
I love R movies!
What did we do for fun as JW's? LOTS!!!
1. Went to Tim Hortons for coffee and donuts - sometimes BEFORE field service?
2. Played "Tree of Knowledge" which included charades!!!
3. Went to restaurants after meetings. We eventually got counselled for that though.
4. Went out in field service?. At least they told us it was fun, but I didn't believe them.
5. Related field service? experiences.
6. .............
I'm sitting here stupidly staring at my screen trying to think of other fun things we did and am drawing a blank. And for my efforts my co-workers now think I'm in some kind of drug induced daze.

Yeah, there for awhile after being a dub, I started catching up on all the great movies that I had missed out on. Don't get me wrong, I still watched "bad movies" when I was a dub, but with far less frequency. Thus, it was great catching up on all those great movies for like almost a year, but then something happened. I ran out of good movies. I now only watch about a movie or two a month if that because most of the movies suck. However, being a dub for years, I had compiled a long list of the few good movies that were out there that I hadn't seen. Now, I'm just like everyone else, trying to find a good movie I haven't seen.

That game was soooo lame. If I still had a copy I'd like to burn it this second.
PG movie to rent
PG's are Ok now? I thought PG stood for Pure Garbage!
That's right, my sibs and spouses wouldn't even watch PG. I remember my first R rated movie. I thought lightening might strike, then I couldn't see what all the fuss was about.
When I was 15 I went to a party being held at a young sisters house. Her name was Bella, of whom I have spoken before when she eventually got DF'd. I digress.. The party started about 4 pm, so you can tell how it was going to go.
We started drinking ginger-beer, which has no alcohol content whatsoever and bopped around to "Timin' on her little Dansette record player. Must of been at least 5 watts.
One or 2 of the lads had brought bottles of pale ale with them, so we all had a swigg.
Well, by 7 pm we were all happy and opted to play "Postmans Knock". It was first-kiss time for lot's of us, so we all went home happy.
Until..somebody grassed!
We all got interrogated by the PO and Asst PO. They wanted to know if we had "just kissed" or if things had gone any further. They hadn't and that was the end of that.
It was also the end of Bella's parties..

Hiking in the mountains
Some of us even went to clubs together

Ok, but just make sure that you don't eat any birthday cake, or a too bloody steak, or the unleaven bread, or the wine, or any Christmas candy, or Haloween candy, or easter eggs. Remember, everything with moderation. Oh, and don't eat from those crazy vendors at the conventions, only your one soggy sandwich you packed.
Gossip about the elder body's ex-wives, who was reproved, and single mother's.
