They could step "outside" of our 3D universe as easily as we walk out of a room. Once outside of our 3D realm they would be invisible to us.

You mean you can't do it?

If so, that is news to me in school they always said petroleum was Dinosaur "piss".

It is a common misunderstanding that "fossil" fuel comes from dead animals. That's not to say some fossil fuels are organic in nature, but it's called a "fossil" fuel because it's underground.

Unlike light, which posses both its electromagnetic and particle properties, no one knows how gravity works.

It's never been detected yet, either... as far as I know. They're working on it though:

    http://www.ligo-wa.caltech.edu/

"Gravitational waves that originated hundreds of millions of lights years from earth are expected to distort the 4-kilometers mirror spacing by about a thousandth of a fermi, less than one tenth of a trillionth of the diameter of a human hair."

The K.I.S.S. rule [keep it simple silly] Don't be intimidated by science anyone. Many of our difficulties are because of the inability of our teachers to convey information in an easy to grasp form. I am presently an agnostic about matters of faith, nevertheless i am most impressed with Jesus simple teaching methods. For example; the zero and the vowel system. It's hard for some to grasp how our alphanumeric system existed before the 5th century.Languages were written with constantants only, no vowels, and Jesus was born in 1AD before 1AD was 1BC there is no 0 BC.How did they do arithmetic without the zero in their life?I sure would have missed it. The same goes for physics,we need an easy to grasp learning primer on physics. Space/time: The "fabric" of time and space is like a deep spongy exercise mattress.Celestial objects like the Sun are big and heavy and put a BIG dent in the mattress.Anything that is near this dent or hole will want to flow "down" into the dent if it is nearby. Our Earth is captured by,and is always "falling" into the the Suns "dent".The ''dent" is gravitational attraction.Time and space are 'together', time and space is the thick spongy mattress,so this dent made by the heavy Sun will,"distort" this fabric in space/time by it's 'dent'. A really big "dent" is made by a theoretical 'black hole' so accordingly time and space will also be severely distorted by the black hole's dent. Using our big 3 dimensional thick spongy mattress as a substrate playing field for the entire solar system, with the Sun at the pitchers mound, and Pluto in the outfield. The outer planets will be least affected or 'reached' by the sun's dent of gravitational attraction. Science fiction abounds with fantasy's of beating the limiting finite velocity of light by finding a way to bend or "warp" our spongy mattress by bending or "folding" it so that the the distance between celestial objects is shortened.Much like you would fold a 3 dimensional piece of paper in half. Note: the theory i expounded are disputed by prominent physicists, there are some guys who say a black hole isn't even a hole at all. They don't know what is is or even if there is such a thing In order for a spirit realm of Angels to exist and respond to events like prayer supplications in real time they must have a way to 'beat the system'..

I ALWAYS buckle up man! It makes it harder for the aliens to suck you out of the car.

    Safety first!

Best darned line of the whole thread.

    Interesting post Danny,

I think we have no idea of how vast the universe is especially when you concider in the inflation therory.

As to other life form besides what we see in the space time dimension I say yes they mustor at least there is a high probability that they exist but the question is what are they like,,that I have not a clue. I don't trust other persons judgement in this area because I must experience it to make up my own judgement which could be wrong due to my limited sensory capabilities.

    drwtsn32,

Are you sure about this? I read that the experiment that appeared to speed up light was more of an "optical illusion." I'll have to see if I can find the reference.

I need to review older references. However, it is been observed in astrophysics that the movement of galaxies, light emissions, etc. has shown that some objects are moving relative to one another faster than light ... also, light slowing down over time. Further, if you read Hawkings (well known physicist who sits in Newtons chair at the university) he discusses light bending and slowing around black holes, and being sucked back into a black hole after it initially escapes ... this means it has to slow and then be bent back toward the black hole - toward singularity.

    myauntfanny,

See, now what I never understood is this simultaneous action at a distance thing.

Imagine a rod of steel one millions miles long out in space (four times the mean distance between the earth and the moon, or about, or about 5.4 light-seconds long) ... you have a watch mounted at each end with the same exact time. The watches are designed to stop as soon as motion begins. At one end of the rod you move it in the same exact direction as its axis toward its other end. Does the opposite end move at the same time? Would there be a time difference between the two watches? OR would there be simultaneous action? If the rod is only a foot long, the action measures as simultaneous, and likewise for various longer rods ... so at what length does simultaneous action cease? That is the mass of the rod and the watch at one end at short lengths move together in a single simultaneous action. So, when would this convert to some time-warped-relativity where one end of the rod moves before the other end does? If simultaneous, then the energy to move the mass one million miles away was transmitted 5.4 times faster than light. And the watches will show the same exact time as they stopped at the start of motion.
