    OhioCowboy,

Oh puppies! I like that too. Puppies smell so sweet.

Fresh brewed coffee and with it the antipation of that first cup of coffee in the morning!

I love the smell of the bathroom right after someone has showered and shaved. It always makes me feel so safe. It reminds me of when I was little.

I also love the smell of English Ivy potporri. I have found one shop here in Arkansas that carries it. It is very clean, very crisp.

I have a horrible sense of smell (damn sinus) but sounds, that's another thing.

The sound of chanting, as in the opening to Orff's Carmina Burana, sends cold terror down my spine (you wouldn't believe if I told you)
Laughter, not the pleansant chuckling of the happy and relaxed, but wild and manical of one capable of anything
The sound of a light bulb breaking is a bad memory, with no beginning or ending

The wonder of my daughter first cries when she was born
My son screaming in pain from arthritis
My daughter's reaction at dinner tonight: "Okay ... ewwwww!"

I'm 6 years old when I hear Simon and Garfunkel's "At The Zoo", I first heard it on the way to the Dallas Zoo in first grade
A contended sigh of a child cuddling on my lap
The comforting sigh of my wife and I in bed together

There is a small body of water just outside my apartment that has lots of frogs in it. At night when I am going to sleep I enjoy hearing them "sing" (Translation: The male frogs are all yelling "Hey baby, my place or yours" to the female frogs).

Anytime I sleep somewhere other than my apartment I miss hearing them sing.
