I see you buy into conspiracy theories and a lot of armchair speculation there Flash.

Government will not turn on religion. We are not headed for a world government. You've either been reading too much of the "Left Behind" series, the Watchtower or some whacko right-wing stuff. Sorry, ain't gunna happen.

Never. Once I knew they didn't have the truth, I investigated and learned Armageddon already happened (in the Bible that is).

I don't worry about any of that anymore. The deprogramming is complete.

    Sirius,

It is amazing how many former dubs have nightmares and thoughts about the great tribulation. You know when this stopped for me? When I decided that I really didn't have a clue what was going to happen to me after death, or at Armageddon (if there is such a thing that is going to happen). I wanted there to be something after death, but after being in dubland for 36 years and hearing different, and conflicting, everlasting life scenarios from every religion my whole life, I decided nobody else had a clue either. If they did, how could so many different religions read the same book and come up with so many different ideas?

So, in the end, I came to the conclusion that if Jesus and God, Jehovah, whoever, truly reads hearts like the scriptures say, then they can read mine and know that my heart is crushed and I don't know where to go for the truth anymore. I don't trust any religion. Does that deserve a flesh melting death? I don't think so.

While a witness in 1975, I never took the 1975 date seriously. 911? Nope. Were pawns in a game.

The first Gulf War at the time made me think about the big A, by the time the millenium and then 9/11 came along I no longer took the WT that serious.

Unless you count that house I built for Abraham, Isaac and Samson to live in. That GD Samson is a hard man to please with his precious dreadlocks with little bows in them. Don't pick at his hair though, guy goes nuts, tore the whole friggin house apart and spent 3 days on ebay trying to find the jawbone of an ass.

Then the freak of nature tied my cats tails together and tried lighting their asses on fire with a 100 watt light bulb which he figured must be fire.

    What's up with that!
