You know Valis, I must walk around bus shelters, rest rooms and parks with my digital camera some time, see if I can capture a few in flames just at the point I wander past, did u get the perpertrator? come on!!

It rattles you doesn't it. Ask yourself why Valis. You know I post pro Jw here sometimes as you allude to, because that is how I feel. That "tearing down" phrase keeps springing up in my mind. Why do you do it? Its just a question, not a personal attack on you.

Well Scooby, as I was subject to that and that only for a good 17 years I thought I might spend some time deconstructing it...maybe not as long or even with the same fervor with which I was "learned" to be a JW. As a matter of fact I might not have ever been here if it hadn't been for the persistence to indoctrinate my kids. It doesn't go away Scooby and I fail to see why you couldn't recognize such a thing. Such a thing that would piss people off. Such a thing that can't be related to JWs who consider thier religion more important than immediate family. You sort it out.

I think my riducule is mainly extended to the governing body of JW's, their rules and policies, their lies and deception, not the members themselves.

I take exception to the JW's who wander in here against the counsel of the org they are so "loyal" to to preach and condemn the so-called apostates who have made this forum their online home. I hate the arrogance and self-righteousness it takes to do that. I sometimes enjoy hitting them in the face with their own "flashes of brilliant light".

As far as reason goes, reasoning with a JW is simply impossible. We have all tried and we have seen the results.

And just for the record some days I hate them and some times I'm sympathetic. And I must confess I've burned a amagzine or two in my time. Some people are more symbolic that way. And remember not only are some in different stages, but some have had vastly different experiences while in too. I say to each is own, as long as no one is calling me a pathetic lump personally, i'm not particuarly bothered.

Like I said, that's the beauty of all the people here, to balance each other out. I'm thankful that's there are some who DO burn magazines in public places to make a statement. That way I dont HAVE to.

Valis....You "deconstruct" in an unusual way, often you attack, always negative of anyone not fitting what you see as right. Maybe you should try to deconstruct in a more aminable way. I think that would help others more. I really don't know the story about your kids, but I wish you and them to be well, and to be happy.
