Hi Bonezz-
Please share a greeting and a big hug with your mom from me & mine. I'm glad you are there for each other and can support one another in the choice you've made to be FREE. Enjoy each day together.
Warm regards,

Sorry to hear, tell your mom, there is many peole here who care! *hugs*
Just goes to show YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO LEARN!!!
Your Mother is so couragous to have changed her beliefs after so many years. The way our precious seniors are treated by the borg is a tragedy.
((((Bonezz and Family)))
(((((((((((((((Bonezz)))))))))))))))))))
you know you and your mom are loved!
It's been over a year and half since I lost my dad the same way as you. My mom is busy with her activities in the community more than JW stuff. But she still goes to double congos (2 of each meeting, doh!) just to keep her mind occupied in the evening. So hang in there and be with your mom. I'm sure it will take many years for her to get over the suddenness of her loss.
What a brave family you are now and don't give up hope on your neice.
Miss ya here,
Joy
shera...we've gotten more hugs & loving comments than we would have ever gotten if we were still involved with the group. Little Witch...my mom says she wanted out a long time ago because she could feel the unloving attitude and my dad noticed probs but just figured they were "imperfect men". How many times have we heard that? The U.N. and child molestation was finally enough to push him over and really do some investigating that did not involve Watchtower publications. Joyzabel....how does your mom explain the "community" involvement to her elders...Or do they even know? If you're not a mover and shaker in the cong you are easily overlooked. And I wish it was my niece that was shunning her...it's my daughter...her only granddaughter. It makes me sick. Thanks to all for the kind words and it is good to be back aboard and able to post a little.

Hi Bonezz
I must say that I gained strength from your mom and dad. Just knowing that they were J.W.'s for so much of their life and that they finally saw the hypocisy and left. It's just truly amazing to me.
((( Hugs Bonezz)) It's hard when parents die. I remember commenting on that post in March.
It must be hard that your Mother is shunned. It just sits with me wrong... the unfairness of it all.
take care bonezz
sincerely
Special K
Bonezz, get ahold of me, buddy, I lost your #, and my dance card has been totally full, but I'd like to hang out, and stuff has been mellowing out here. I hope you are well, but I know that this kind of loss is awful, especially when compounded by callous dub behavior. (((bonezz))
Thanks Special K. Towards the end I think it was easier for them to leave than to stay because they didn't have any true friends and they could see thru all of the borg crap. My dad was constantly commenting on the "made-up deficits" at the assemblies...the "growing number of boxes in the back of the hall"...and the constant push push push for more hours....etc. I believe many older ones that began their JW lifes back when "millions now living will never die" was the anthem, can see thru the BS but just hang in there for family or whatever....but they are tired! You can see it in their faces!
avishai...I'll get in touch...maybe by PM cause things have been hectic and I can't seem to locate your number either. I'll share my guerilla-aposto-witnessing efforts with you.

Bonezz,
The billboard idea is GREAT!! Sorry about the situation that has lead to the billboard idea.
So very sad. My heart goes out to you and your mom.
Wishing you both the very best, and hoping that your daughter will eventually "come around".....
