The only thing that would bother me is eternal damnation. Since I don't believe in that, I really don't think I'm screwed. "Heaven" would be nice, but it seems a bit made up, so I don't feel I'm missing out on anything. Now, since the whole afterlife thing doesn't matter, best make the most of the time we have.

Maybe God, as universal shot-caller, reserves the right to use anyone he wants to do anything he pleases. Since God is supposedly good, his doing this would not cause lasting harm to anyone whom he enlists as his gopher.

I agree with what rocketman said here. And at times, danger/harm might be present.

The name of the Hebrew God of the bible is not Jehovah.I was an intense devout lifelong sincere to the core Jehovah's Witness.

I'am now languishing in limbo.This altered state of ambivalence is normal,a sort of 'spiritual limbo'.

I think this reveals the heart of our problem. We were (and those still active Witnesses) became followers of a 'religion' rather than worshipers of Jehovah. There is a big differance. Jesus set us free from traditions and man made rules and encouraged thinking! The WTS does the opposite, it enslaves people who want to follow Jesus and worship His Father.

It does beg the question "what is the best way to use it", however.

Wouldn't making a person think a certain thought or turn their car to the right negate the whole idea of free will?
If god answers prayers, we automatically do not all have free will.

If god interviened momentarily in some cases.....would he be robbing you of freewill in it's entirety?

Now either Jesus is the son of God OR the most conceited Jackass that ever lived.He goes on to assert that if his followers have just a tad of faith the size of a mustard seed,WHY he can move mount Everest.

I have seen no evidence here that proves God, YHWH, does not exist. Only rationalsations and circular logic, that has only lead to a false dilemma.
