  Its funny you state that because my Father who suffers with gout also when he has attacks drinks beer figuring that the urinating will get rid of the uric acid.

  Like I said, I've cut down on everything but if I do indulge its Coors Lite, Fosters Bitters, or maybe Malt Liquor (Colt 45, Ole English), but no more guiness! I never forget that attack I had for three days from a six pack of that strong beer.

  I've found I drink a lot more wine also, like riesling, I love that stuff.
