Ok Man I am so pissed at my fish! I have errr had 2 convicts and one Jack Dempsy.
Two of the asshole fish ate the little convict! I am so tempted to flush them down or better yet fry their asses in the pan!

LOL! Hiya! Another fish nerd!!! Hey, Cassiline keeps cichlids... I'm an Amazon kinda girl. Keep corys, angels, bristlenoses... they don't eat each other.
Send 'em to me. I'll feed 'em to my turtles.
Walter
I have about 1000 fish in my pond, mostly Koas. If yo put a "feeder" in there they will eat it.
Shame on you.
Elmer
eh I used to keep fire newts...those little bastards would chew on each other very aggressively..many times killing each other...the only other fish I could have in the tank was a plecosthemus..(sp?)
Sincerely,
District Overbeer
Yeah, plecos are hard to eat, they are armor-plated. I've seen folks keep the big ones even in a turtle tank.
Yeah, fish-keeping can be a really nice hobby. Personnaly, a keep a "harem" of 3 dwarf cichlid. The male seem to be happy with its 2 female. I also have a small fellowship of corydoras, these guys are so cute. Finally, I have a shoal of 10 neons tetra, they are splendids
They don't call them 'Jack Dempsey' for nothing. Jack Dempsey was a boxer.
If you keep carnivors in your tank expect them to display their natural instincts.
I used to feed my Oscars nice fat female guppies. It relieved their boredom and they were cheap live food at the time. Buy them bulk.
I had Oscars then got tired of them so I gave them away.
I konw about aggressive fish that why i like them, I just dont like when they eat each other like that. They are babies, i was even gonna start feeder fishing them, guess I am going to have get them some feeders.....
I will admit to being a bit peeved when a fully grown, male, swordfish that I had bred swam too close to an Oscar and got snapped, just leaving a bit of the tail drifting down to the bottom of the tank.
Oscars are wonderfully aggressive fish, I had to be quick throwing their food into the tank or they would bleed my fingers.
They just loved tank cleaning day, when they would try to remove moles and freckles from my arm.
I had to get rid of them because they upset visitors and my wife by trying to tear each others jaws off and it was quite noisey when they were fighting behind the rocks, causing them to bang on the tank.
We replaced them with little pretty things that just swam around waiting for dinner all day.
