poppers, I grew up on Anne of Green Gables and that series. I've always been an avid reader. Later when the PBS series came out I watched it over and over, what a great job they did of casting and making those stories come to life.
btw, I don't talk to fairies anymore, but it was a wonderful diversion as a child. Having said that, has anyone read any of the adult fairy stories they have put out? They're quite amazing. Wicked, is one, the story about the wicked witch of the west. Seems those old stories were originally written for adults, many times as political satires. Later they were cleaned up for children. Some of the authors have given them a sexual twist, others take them back to political satires. Wish I could remember some titles... been awhile since I read one.
