So Aaron are you calling mastubation a sin, or not?

Answer carefully, there will be follow up questions.

We had a Circuit Overseer give a talk in the early 1990s, I think about 1991, wherein he tied together a long string of development such that he was able to turn masturbation into an act of loose conduct whereby a person who practiced, that is, did it more than once after being counseled about it, could be disfellowshipped for it. I am trying to recall his name. He looked like Nikita Kruchev, Premier of the former Soviet Union. I wondered if he was floating a WTS 'trial baloon' to see how this notion would be accepted, or if he was speking from actual WTS policy, or if was was just goofy out on his own thing. - Amazing

    open_mind,

I see you're new here--Welcome to the group!

You addressed a serious comment to Fredhall, and as usual, he couldn't give you a serious answer. Fredhall is our on-line moron who types a few misspelled words in various threads. Don't even try imagining he or she has a brain--his nitwit posts are an example of what happens when a person spends too many hours selling Watchtowers.

    Again, welcome to the group!

A good study into the exegesis of Paul's letter to the Hebrews reveals that it is impossible to commit the unforgivable sin. You can illustrate it this way:

If a person could jump off of the planet, they would die in space. But, it is not possible to jump off of the planet, at least not under one's own power. So, in the same way, once you are an adopted child of God, you cannot turn your back on God. The ending chapter of Romans, Ch 8 shows that it is impossible for anyone (including oneself) to be taken out of God's hand. No person, no angel, no power in heaven or earth, no governemnt, no authority, no organization can take you away from God. Any threat by a religious organization which even suggests that you could be taken away from God, such as the 'doubt' the WTS creates, is not from God, but from Satan. The WTS is a liar organization that totally and 1005 misrepresents God and Christ. - Amazing

    Hi LDH and all,

There is a good article, opens up some good points at the site below. It was written by Joshua1992, If you want to know that, look in the Underground at H20. H20 won't allow the subject above ground. I don't know why Joshua92 didn't publish it openly. I don't necessary follow all his inuendos about the subject, and I respect his freedom to hold any views he wishes. So read the site, with an open mind.

Belbab, It's dark as a dungeon way down in the mine, where the dangers are many and the troubles not few, Old Nova Scotia coal miner's song.

*** g94 11/8 20 Have I Committed the Unforgivable Sin? ***Masturbation is an unclean habit. (2 Corinthians 7:1) However, the Bible does not class it with serious sins such as fornication. In fact, it does not mention it at all. Therefore, a lapse into masturbation would hardly be unforgivable.

Since it isn't mentioned in the bible, how could the WTS decide it is a sin at all?

After all, it can't be just something that occurs in our century. So, if it was wrong, the bible would have mentioned it.
