Satan has nothing to do with it.
Relax and the right guy will come along. There are still people out there that believe in relationships.
It takes time to find someone special that is going in the same direction but it is worth it once that person is found.
When you chase the butterfly it flutters away from your grasp. When you lay down in sheer exhaustion from the chase the butterfly will land on your nose.

Looking back, I recall I've let some 'good women' go because I couldn't 'accept' them and maybe I couldn't accept my myself. When I realized what a fool I had been, what I was looking for appeared almost immediately! So, I married her. Now, after 20 years, I often feel like I don't deserve her BUT that's another story...

I think a lot of our "newbies" recently have been the same ogre playng tricks on us all.

It is hard for me to look at this from a womans point of view.
So let me ask you a few questions.
Are you very beautiful? I ask this because good looking women intimidate all but the most egotistic and arrogant men, which are jerks, and the decent guys stay away.
Are you tall? Most short guys know they have no chance with a tall gal. And we are definitely an under rated resource! I personally just get out my mountain climbing gear.
Are you very smart? Again most men are at a loss to deal with very bright woman.
Do you have a high powered job? This again is a mate killer.
Are you high maintainance and difficult to please? The smart guys will walk on by. Too many easy going gals aroung to want to deal with the high-strung ones.
Where do you hunt/look for men? Bars are not the best place. Join a group or take a night class to meet like-minded guys.
Avoid the mama's boys, forty plus window washers who still live at home and the guys who are looking for a lady to support them.
There are great guys around, just pick the right rock to look under! Maverick
