    Why not invite them around to your house to discuss it but secretly record the conversation? Over here you do not have inform anyone that you are recording them so long as it is your own home. This may well be enough to provide police with sufficient grounds to begin investigations, perhaps even lead to prosecutions. I would not see this as revenge but as justice. Of course, this may not be the best thing for your child. I f****ng hate those b*****ds.

    You have every right to feel angry with anyone who hurts you or yours, even indirectly, as this person did by standing by and not doing the right thing.

    Individuals like them should be the ones with mill stones round their necks at the very least.

    I'm sorry Bliss,

    I think it still happens to all of us to one degree or another. i still start to shake when I see the elders in my old congo--I am so angry at them now it hurts. I am working on it though and have been assured that the pain will become less intense in the future. I'm am sorry you are hurt too. We are only human.

    Well things like this still might touch you, but this in itself doesn't mean it still has a hold on you. If you care, of course it's going to have that effect - it even touches people who were never JWs because they do care. Some of it might still be identification with the JW mindset such as fear of elders and whatnot, but it's good to distinguish between the two because while one is a remnant of the JW life, the other is just natural caring.

    I certainly do understand the anger. The way the elders dealt with my kids being (not sexually) abused by their mother and stepdad is what turned me. Their mindset is so screwed up and dangerous I feel like taking a baseball bat to their kneecaps sometimes. The next time I see one of them I don't think I will be able to keep my mouth shut. Those ignorant, arrogant bastards.

    I think you have a RIGHT to feel the way you do. They are "reminders" of a pain that they could have STOPPED. I would feel the same as you do.

    In fact....I am agry because when the elders came for a welcoming visit a year ago, they said they had to see our publisher cards to know if WE were PEDOPHILES...omg....That was enough for me...

    I couldn't imagine walking in your "shoes" and experiencing elders that protect peds and not you or your children.

    Keep posting here and venting and release your anger with people that understand you and care for you!

    I am so sorry that you and your family had to experience such cruelties in your life.
