Yes, Wag the Dog, is what he was . Whatever the polls said is what Bill said. The man had no backbone but I must admit he could charm the pants off of almost everyone!

LOL, Clinton only lied about having screwed a few women, whereas, Bush is lying about having screwed the entire country.

I have no respect for him or his administration whatsoever.

I think that's kinda sad, all things considered. Can't say I didn't see it the same way at one time though.

You know me Sixy, I'm not a political guy and I really don't want this to get into a Democrat/Clinton-Republican/Bush bash (I REALLY don't want that). Frankly I say a pox on both houses. One party is as bad, and hypocritical, as the other. Neither has done a damn thing to deserve my respect.

That's what I find kinda sad. Bill Clinton has done alot of things deserving of great respect and admiration (along with some very naughty things and some very "political" things). And, for that matter, many Republican presidents have to.

It's sad to me that the truly filthy of the political world, have so thoroughly poisened the well for so many people.

The guys is/was a sleaze. I have no respect for him or his administration whatsoever. His presidency, in my opinion, is the epitome of "Wag The Dog"

    Hey Big Tex,

I know you probably mean this about Bill Clinton... but honestly... it could also apply to Bush, Jr. Both sides are guilty of "Wag the Dog" politics.

I agree... the whole Dem vs. Repubs is really getting old. Neither side is going to see it the other's way. But, when I went to vote in 1996 and 2000, I asked myself, "Is my life now better or worse than it was four years ago?" Both times, the answer was, "Better." However, this November when I ask that question, (unless I win the lottery or something) the answer is going to be, "Worse." Bush, Jr. is responsible for that, regardless of what he "inheirited" from Clinton.

    Just my 2cents,
    Country

"I don't care that Bill could not keep his thing in his pants . . . not very many men can, and that has nothing to do with the fact that NO ACT OF TERRORISM OCCURED ON US SOIL ON BILL CLINTON'S WATCH. "

    Factually untrue.

The first attack on the world trade center, the Oklahoma City bombing, and the attack on the USS Cole (under international law that counts) all occured on Bill Clinton's watch.

I may be old fashioned but I've kept my dipstick out of everything but my wife for almost thirty years. It can be done and the man that wants to run the country should be able to exercise a little self control. On top of that it wasn't what he did, but the fact that he lied about it under oath. If you or I did that we'd go to jail.

I'm very happy that the lying, dope smoking, draft-dodging, sexual predator can' t come back.

Bill Clinton was a pimp. We ain't had no imidiate wars hanging over our heads. We didn't have the major job loss that we have these days. Plus we was entertained by his scandals. Loved the dude. Only thing people can pin against him really is that he had some fun with some people in the white house. Which president hasn't?

And I don't think the draft-dodging attribute is all that bad... That can actually be a plus for him.

The first attack on the world trade center, the Oklahoma City bombing, and the attack on the USS Cole (under international law that counts) all occured on Bill Clinton's watch.

The first attack on the WTC (the bombing) happened February 26, 1993. Clinton took office January 20, hardly having enough time to sharpen his pencils. Not really fair to put that on him . . . Dubya's daddy deserves as much heat. I hardly think the plan to car-bomb the WTC was conceived and implimented in just 30 days, do you?

The Oklahoma City bombing was domestic terrorism, not international.

The USS Cole was attacked in Yemen.

    Commanding Officer's Philosophy

    USS COLE

    DETERMINED WARRIOR

History is clear ? no other ship in the fleet more embodies these words. We are indeed the fortunate few to serve in this special warship and to have the opportunity to fulfill the legacy of DETERMINED WARRIOR.

It is the Captain who must build an environment for success that will allow USS COLE to fight, win, and prevail. It is an environment that takes advantage of all of the talents of her gifted crew; one that encourages and develops those talents, and builds a lethal team that will win in combat.

    Clinton was not responsible.

All of these events combined do not even come close to the devastation of the WTC attack . . . under Bush's watch. "U.S. military deaths in Iraq reach 610. 471 Americans have died since end of major combat declared" http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4663197/

19 died on the USS Cole.

The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing claimed 168 lives.

    The 1993 WTC car-bomb took 6 lives.

Final 9-11 WTC death toll is 2,749.

You just can't compare the two. Bush has lost more American lives in one term than Clinton lost in two terms.

Yes if I was americain ... but I would make sure that he still have the same wife (who understands who he is for real and know how to deal with him and don't care what people think about their privacy) and gave him a an other monica or alike (so he feels happy enough to not forget about his citizens)
