What's really interesting is I like Def Leppard, but every Def Leppard cover I've heard is so much better! I love the version Kix does of "Foolin'". There was a pile of compilation CDs that came out a couple of years ago (on the Cema label I believe) which had a bunch of bands like Cinderella, Tracii Guns, Warrant, etc. Lots of the songs were covers, and I have covers of "Photograph", "Bringin' On The Heartache", and a bunch of other ones I can't remember. I love the cover versions more than the originals.
As for other metal, I like Saigon Kick, Iron Maiden, Kingdom Come, Blue Oyster Cult, House Of Lords, Kix, Mr. Big, Kick Axe, Guns N Roses, Accept, and so many others that I can't remember right now!

Def Leppard is good...especially at excessive volumes while driving at high speeds...
Right now, my tastes are running to Green Day, Jet, old Metallica, Aerosmith.
I've gotten MOST of my old albums on CD now...it's getting expensive!
