Reflection on My Third Anniversary on JWD

  I can still remember when I first posted all those years ago. I was still an active JW but was drawn to the amazing conversations (and fights) on JWD. H2O was dwindling and the refugees were coming here. My first post was virtually ignored. JWD wasn't quite into the mode of greeting new people like now. Finally Gopher took pity on me and acknowledged me.

  I saw that I was not the only one and that my observations were shared by people who were still or had been part of the WTS. Slowly, my thinking was readjusted; meetings became even more intolerable so I started doing my reviews to amuse myself.

  It is amazing that I still feel like a newbie some days.

  Time flies doesn't it. I see from your number of post that you are an active member. If we were to use BORG comparisions, you would have missionary status :) Keep up the good work, your contributions are needed.

  I remember the good ole apostate days on H20, what was your handle then?

  Larry, I just lurked on H2O; it seemed such an old boys club.

  I felt braver on JWD.

  Hmmm, I never thought about H20 like that, but now that you mentioned it, you may have a point.

  I have noticed that when newbie's come here they generally like this place - they get excellent support

  I wonder how this place will/have evolve over the years.

  Blondie I'm coming close to my third anniversary here too. I agree somedays it feels like I know no one here - there are so many new people
