Yep, I agree with XJW, this place is a better place because of you. Well done!

I remember those 'early days' too of three years ago when we refugees were wandering around in cyber-space looking for a home. trust the poms to give us shelter!!!

It's certainly changed since then. In those times I could follow every thread, but now I'm lucky to simply "get the drift". And there's so many I don't know. I'm sorry about that, but I'm getting old and I can't keep up with the young folks!

Nevertheless it's certainly proved its worth and we're so glad to be surrounded by "so great a cloud of witnesses"!

Keep up the good work, Blondie, your posts are always interesting.

Now I?m a little embarrassed. I just wanted to say how this has helped me. This was the first "apostate" board I posted on. I was so afraid; I thought everyone would be mean to me, but I was ignored???.

Per usual, my first post was explaining the secret change in the WTS doctrine re the 7,000 year creative day. Some might remember Thinker and Thinker?s Wife. Thinker was not a JW but married a lovely ex-JW and gave her the unconditional love she had been looking for. If you 2 lurk out there, hey there.

I have seen that my experience and knowledge of WTS propaganda can help those leaving and those non-JWs who are checking things out for themselves or family/friends. But I have learned much from all of you to add to that.

I?m glad to hear I helped. Sometimes I feel like I irritate people because I always seem to have an opinion. Actually, we all have an opinion if we think about it. I guess I state mine. As to poking a stick?..I have been the bane of elders and elder bodies for years. As an elder, my hubbie realized how much they feared me. One elder told him, "Your wife has kicked our proverbial butt many times." Then there were my comments people did hear at the WT study. When I meet JWs now they don?t say, "we miss you at the meetings" but "we miss your comments at the meetings" Hmmmmm?.

As long as I have access to the magazines, I will have some form of review. With job hunting, gardens, conferences (yes, I have 2 to go to this summer, none of the WTS), and a bear of a workload, the reviews have been brief. They sure lack substance lately. This week is another stroll down the OT lane. Do you think they could find someone with courage in the NT to highlight?

Yes, we may not longer be JWs but we are witnesses to the lies and deceit of the WTS. Each one who posts gives testimony to that even the "good" JWs who come here and reveal what their WT teaching produces.
