What is tha white fabric(?) hanging next to your head?

My parents became JW's when I was 4, but I remember going to Sunday school at a Methodist church.

My father was raised a Christian Scientist. Mom was a Baptist. Church was definitely going to be part of our life.

Dave and his family were 7th Day Adventists until his parents met up with JW's when he was 15.
