    I agree, but it's interesting that this is the third newpaper article here in Spokane, Wa. So it's right under their noses, and this is not over by a long shot. Currently there are other cases pending, and this will hit the news papers also.

    Actually, I was wondering what kind of power E. Davis has on the WT (or his congregation) to fire the original comitee and create a new one in order to retain him and keep him active. Is he wealthy? Does he donate lots of money?

    I am unable to comment any further on this case, since there are legal issues at work. I have been advised to be careful about saying too much more about the matter. The people at Bethel are watching these threads..............

    I realize that there are certain JW's who watch this board.
    But do you really think Bethel monitors these threads?
    If they do then their IP must be known to the administrators.
    Maybe they can shed some light on this.

    So is it really true they watch these threads?

    Yes it is. There have been other discussions about this in the past. The lawyers as well as certain members of the writing commitee monitor these boards closely.

    Puternut, if you risk giving too much information, it might be an idea to edit the previous posts - although that will spoil it for readers, the legal battle is what is important.
