After getting Df'd I became involved with a branch of the Muslims here in NYC called the Nation Of Islam, and after reading the Quran I found that it was fillled with so much talk of violence and war, like the Bible. I gave up and stopped attending mosque. I then went to the Catholic Church and didn't understand a word of what the Priest was talking about.
I've given up on all organized religon and just believe in enjoying nature and communing with myself.

Sorry but the Hadith has NO standing in Muslim law. Only those who are want to formulate an agenda and cannot do it with the HOly Quran, resort to the Hadith. This is another attempt to bash another religion using a false premise. No, I'm not a Muslim, but yes I have read a great deal of its literature and find it more compelling than the OT or NT.

Part of the main plot was that a brother and sister had to share the same pair of shoes, so there was a lot of shoe swapping going on. When putting them on, sometimes they would start with the right foot, and sometimes they would start with the left. They did not seem to pay any attention to which foot they started with.
I guess muslims let the little things slip as much as christians.

Amen. As a right-winger, I can confirm that the biggest Aryan pricks are those who learned to hate and fear minorities in prison. In a dungeon ruled by anarchic strength, then the warlords will use primitive racism to build mini countries for protection and safety.
Well - here's an idea. LET"S STOP SENDING PEOPLE TO PRISON FOR STUPID, NONVIOLENT OFFENSES!!!! It's not rehab - it's there to cage up the beasts among us. Drugs should be depenalized in America. Not decriminalized, because it is socially destructive in many cases, but definitely the focus of drug offense punishment should be fines and rehab and education and community service.
Prison is hardly ever the answer - it's often just the only humane thing to do. I'd prefer to just whack the murderers, rapists, and child molestors, and stick 'em in the dirt and forget about 'em, but a lotta pinkos wouldn't go for it.
Anyway, my participation on this board is coming to a close. Got a lot to do. Just popped in to say farewell and thank you - it won't be forever, or complete, but I'm drifting away and getting busy with other projects. Thank you Simon and Angharad.
