Just a thought, what about having it put around your arm. Small obviously.

I think it's an excellent idea, FMZ! I am getting a tattoo with "Veritas, Aequitas, Libertas" on either my back, or as an armband, I haven't decided yet. I love Latin, such a beautiful language!!!

Chevys, I have my husband's signature tattooed on my hip.
The artist told me, "husbands and boyfriends come and go but tattoos are forever."
I added my kid's initials in stars around Steve's sig in February.
No pets.
FMZ: Make sure you really want it however you get it. For what it's worth, I think a bit smaller or an armband as someone suggested. It's very nice though.

That sounds very cute Princess. I plan on incorporating Spencer's name in to something sometime soon. Just havent made up my mind yet. I'm growing pickier in my old age :)

I suppose my question would be...
What happens to it when you do a HULK shrug and round those shoulders?
or
What happens when you get older? or get a hairy back? lol

way too small, the letters need to be at least twice as tall as they are there to give the tattoo real presence, the overall width is okay, right across your shoulder blades is cool, but i think the letters would look better if they were fat, and like 2.5 - 3.5 inches tall, maybe even bring it down a couple of inches, deeper between your shoulders if needed to compensate the larger text, give it a real impact.

Well I'll give you my opinion, since I am entitled to one today......
It's kinda big. The experience is that 'life' changes all the time, and what would you do if you didn't believe in god anymore.......or you wanted to add something else?
The thing about tatoos is that over the course of time, some people get tired of it, and want to add or change the tatoo.

Dude, listen to Valis, he knows what he's talking about!
Aesthetically, though, I really like it... I agree that it looks kind of thuggish, but I like the juxtaposition of the thuggish look with a noble theological sentiment. It kind of says 'tough but thoughtful.'
