EMan---I know whatcha mean about the large extremeties thingy becoming more of a problem. I've found that a knee brace works well for me.

My father had the same problem. (same heart problems, same size wrists, big head)

I had a friend make him a silver bracelet for his medic ID - Gadget's idea is good, and should be fairly low-cost.

How about a Tilley hat? They come in large sizes and are excellent for sun protection.

I thought Bonce was the black girl who sings number one pop hit songs.

Maybe you need some Panama Red Englisman.

I have found that a garden hose reel works well. That way I can wind it up when not in use......

Englishman, I like that you have a sense of humor about your dilema.

The following might be helpful: I could not find anything about the watch band size, however, this might solve both your watch and med-alert challenges, provided of course, you could put one of those twist-o-flex bands on it, or perhaps even find a jeweler to add some links to the existing band . . . This med-alert watch is engravable, too. While it is rather stylish

Or perhaps this little item . . . or a medical alert necklace or pendent? Surely a chain to fit your neck would not be hard to find, LOL?

Perhaps another alternative to the bracelet thing would be a med-alert tattoo that would include the medical alert symbol and the meds you take or your medical condition . . whatever . . .

How about some kind of medical alert card to go in your wallet? The idea was not originated by the WTBTS, and it is a good idea. Although, when my mother was killed in a car crash in 1990, she was unconscious and had her med-alert/NO BLOOD card in her wallet, but the doctors failed to check for anything like that and began administering blood anyway. I don't mind that so much now, it sucked that she could have had some other medical condition or allergy to consider when they were trying to revive her.

Found some big head hats links too that might be helpful:

Until we can solve your hat thing, perhaps some 40 spf sunscreen would be advisable.

By the way, Englishman, you have a pm.

Lots o luck to you, englishman,

    Englishman,

Perfect! So what was all the fuss about?

As to the Medic-alert, sense the "new system" is not going to come and change this condition, why not tatoo the medic alert info on to your wrist?

Englishman.....Sounds like you might have Marfan Syndrome. What you described sounds just like it. Have you been checked out for it?
