I sure wish I knew how to crochet, maybe Sassy could teach me?????
My mum is a sadist.
She taught me to cast on and to "knit one, pearl one", but never taught me to cast off.
I have a 24' scarf that's still on the needles!!!
Those are very pretty Lady. The green and blue blanket,I love!
Little Toe - you kill me!!!
I can knit actually, but don't tell anyone, ok!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also like the hooded sweater, very nice.
Just a note here for Grace
It was Grace's daughter Sue who taught me how to crochet and read a pattern - Thanks Sue
Exquisite Lady Lee - just lovely things.
You and Gary are so talented.

I always thought that once we were in the new system people would need clothes and I could teach other people how to knit and sew. I figured I could figure out how to use a spindle and make my own wool, or learn how to make cloth on a loom.
I also managed to learn how to grow food and can/preserve it (although someone would have to make the containers.
I had it all firgures out so that I would be ready when 1975 came
and then it went and went and went and here we are in 2004 and I'm still learning new things but now I'm not worried about the end anymore - thank goodness
What beautiful work, Lee. I can't see pics too well till I get my puter fixed, but they are lovely from what I can make out.
LMAO! @ LT
