Good for you, Simon! (and Angharad too!)
Going back to school was one of the best decisions I've ever made and I have absolutely NO regrets about it. Yes, it's tough to do when you have little ones in tow... but if I can do it, anyone can do it!
Once my current student loans are paid for, I'm seriously considering upgrading to a degree program. Athabasca University in Alberta offers a wide variety of on-line degree programs, so perhaps they'll have something for you too. Don't forget to get credit equivalencies for the courses and experience you already have. It will save you some time and keep you from spending hours in a class that you already know inside out.
Best wishes, Scully
The one I'm doing is with the Open University in the uk www.open.ac.uk
They have tutorials etc ... that you can go to on campus (Manchester is actually the largest student campus in Europe, or something like that!).
I'm sure I'll be able to continue it or transfer things when we move to Canada - I'll have a look into the uni's there.
Simon,
As Scully mentioned Athabasca comes highly recommended by many people that I know and does have a transfer point programme that recognizes European education. Anyway, the CAD & US Degree is imho about the same educational level as an "A" Level in the UK.....ducks for cover...

I'm wondering if I should go back and get my Masters degree in Public Admin. My job is willing to pay for 1/2 the tuition....Hmmmm
