  Council members were shown photographs of a ballistic missile site outside Baghdad in May 2003, and then saw a satellite image of the same location in February 2004, in which facilities had disappeared.

  Geese, that's almost a year between pictures. What about all the in between pics? What anout those fake pics powell showed the un and the world? Can the authenticity of these pics be trusted?

  So usa bigwigs left a missile site intact, letting unca sad haul them away? Do they also have pics of saddam running to jordan w a missile under each arm? Seriously, there seems to be a lot missing here.

  2003 march 20 - w bush starts war on iraq w massive bombing and troops entering iraq

  2003 april 7 - basra falls to brits

  2003 april 9 - bagdad falls to us forces

  2003 may 1 - end of war declared

  2003 may - pic taken of supposed missile site

  2003 dec - saddam captured

  2004 feb - pic taken of same site where missiles now missing

  Of course, this is all trash to thichi, as i got it from the following site: http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0908792.html but to those who like to see the overall picture, at least one thing will stand out. That is, that the war was declared ended in may, w us/coalition forces in control, the same month that there were supposedly still missiles at the site.

  Additionaly, supposedly, these 'missiles' and other wmd were exported by saddam/saddam's forces after us mastery of the country. The time window for export even passes the capture of saddam by 2 or three months. Incredible, unless iraqis were just selling anything that was of value and movable, just so they could eat. It wouldn't take much spin to turn that into a report like the above.

  Hey, wasn't saddam's torture/interrogation supposed to spill the beans on where he hid those pesky weapons of mass ridicule destruction? It's been six months now that the best of american/israeli interrogation techies have been poking/prodding/medicating/terrorising that baathist bastard. By now, if there is anything left of his brain, they should have been able to extract every one of those dirty little secrets from between his synapses.

  Why even argue it? They could find a WMD in Saddam's pants and all the Bush bashers wouldn't believe it. Kind of like the Regan bashing in the 1980's. Only years later do people realize what he did was right. The same will be true with America's war on radical Islam.

  I don't believe a shred of this ThiChi. This country was monitored from too many angles for too long for them to suddenly (uhhh...late breaking news) have the capacity to ship every one of them out prior to the war ending.

  You don't have to be a Bush basher to see with your own eyes that the man is a total moron. In his press conferences, he looks like he is a high school senoir getting liquored up to go to the Friday night pep-rally. He is stupid and arrogant, not a self-made man by any means . . . much too stupid to be. If it was not for his daddy, he would be lucky to get his license to spray for bugs in trailor parks. God, what man can't look at that sob and see what a total fake he is. Every time he completes a scripted sentence he has practiced many times over before show-time, he looks out at the crowd as if to say, "hey, see! I can talk like the big boys . . . and I can go potty all by myself".

  There are no WMD's, there never were, and there never will be. My advice: Vote Kerry. At least the man has a wife who does not have to go on late night talk shows (like Jay Leno) to explain what her husband thinks . . . and meant to say or do. This is the one and only president in history who will be assigned a place at the special ed table for rich spoiled brat politicians who had to lie and steal to get his term then lie his way through his term. What will be said of republicans from this era??? That they were the most gullible and blind in all history.

  So, Kerry flip-flops on issues . . . tells us what we want to hear. No different than any other political candidate that ever ran for office. I'd do anything not to have to look at Ronald Reagan's co-star, all growed up, from Bedtime For Bonzo making absurd monkey sounds with the Whitehouse Seal beneath his podium.

  I still see no proof, and the UN was pretty heartily bitch slapped by Bush and he did what he wanted to against their preferences and advisement. Tell me such an impotent organization can't be manipulated. They've shown absolutely no proof either.

  [edited to say] For me, this is not a partisian issue. I really could care less which party has the Whitehouse, I would just like to listen to a state of the union address by a president that doesn't make me feel like I need a shower afterward.
