I am staying alert, just in case we have more.
When we getting together again? What about these others out here, should we plan lunch or something? Who is up for it?

A moderate earthquake centered off the coast of Baja California gave San Diego County a thorough shaking Tuesday afternoon, according to official monitoring data.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The quake, centered 56 miles southwest of Imperial Beach off the coast of Baja California, was measured at 5.1 magnitude at 48 seconds past 3:28 p.m., according to preliminary U.S. Geological Survey data.
The quake was believed to have occurred at a depth of nine miles near the underwater San Clemente Fault.
Dogs barked, buildings rattled and residents scurried outside to see what was going on during the quake, which lasted about five seconds.
The quake was felt as far north as the Mojave Desert, and was felt to the east in Palm Springs as well, officials said.
A second quake initially reported by monitoring stations as being centered in the Mojave Desert southwest of Edwards Air Force Base was a false reading, officials said.

Maine is seismic stable because it's in the 'middle' of the tectonic plates.California is to our west and the eastern boundary is in the middle of the atlantic ocean.
I had worked in heavy construction for 20 years. Many BIG projects.I worked 5 years at the seabrook New Hampshire nuclear plant. The domned reactor containment is the strongest building ever made by man.It designed to withstand earthquakes and a direct hit from a 380 ton 747 jumbo jet at 500 mph.
Reinforced concrete was my bread and butter."If you want it to stay do it in grey"

I checked the USGS site and reported in to it within 2 minutes of the quake. In 15 minutes, they had registered the Palmdale 4.7 quake. That timing is about right, taking 15 minutes to register it. I even looked at the "waveforms".
This is what it said when they logged the Palmdale quake on:
A light earthquake occurred at 3:29:25 PM (PDT) on Tuesday, June 15, 2004. The magnitude 4.7 event occurred 11 km (7 miles) SW of Edwards AFB, CA. The hypocentral depth is 25 km (16 miles).
Something has gone wrong with their data. (This is what 151 posted). I can't find that entry now & I didn't "jpeg" the map. You usually don't have to do so. And the offshore one doesn't show at all. I am certain it will be updated later. But, your nice big red box doesn't' stay red but for an hour!!!! Mustang
