    Eman,

Firstly I hope you're OK! Did you get whiplash?

Secondly, did you get his reg no? I would respectfully ask that you take this a step further. Could you contact the police again and speak to someone else about what happened and about how sure you were that he was drunk. I know that the police will sometimes monitor someone if they're strongly suspected of drink driving, they might even pull him up on his way home or something next time. I know of one person who was suspected and they pulled him up around the corner from his local pub and banned him for 3 years.

    Hi Sirona,

Yep, the police have details of the drivers of all 3 vehicles. I guess it is possible that he did get breathalysed, some mention was made about there not being a breathalyser in the police car at the time.

I think you did do the right thing, and it may be worth it to complain to the police about how it was handled. If this guy was lying and got away with it, then this just encourages him to do it again.

Also, if he was drunk, then arresting him should possibly be a wake up call for him to get help. The police didnt help anyone today by letting him get away with that

Yes, you did the right thing. Sounds like the other driver shouldn't have been on the road, whether it was Rx drugs or alcohol.

    I'm glad you're all right.
