Answer---Christianity was a NEW religion. It was not part of a reformation. JWs became a religion in its own right because C.T. Russell began the group called "Bible Students" and formed Zion's Watch Tower. Present day JWs simply borrowed Russell's ideas, fine tuned them and kept many of the basic tenets...Today, "reformed" Jews are viewed by most Orthodox as not being "real Jews".

I thought Christianity....was expected by mosaic jews? I thought they anticipated him, worshipped his god, were chosen by god, and were HIS people who were EXPECTING a messiah all along? How can you say it "was new" as a religion? Jesus reformed the jewish way by omiting sins that meant the jews could discard their sacrafices. As far as the bible teaches, Christianity was installed since mans fall. Gumby
