As I have said elsewhere, SNAP members were astonished at the degree of the WTS disfellowshipping policy and the 2 witness rule.
Another point, is that when determining if a brother is qualified to be an elder, the elders ask him twice if he is a convicted pedophile. If he denies it twice (self-reporting), he is considered free of accusation.

avishai, the WTS never depends on "worldly" sources. For example, Paul Berry is a convicted pedophile serving time in prison yet has not been DF'd.

What exactly is this? For how many weeks or months or years will we be told that extremely important documents that will make the whole wide world gasp - will be published? Is someone crying "Wolf! Wolf!", or what is happening? Why telling weeks or months ahead that something will come, producing oh so fertile soil for gossip and rumours, and then getting a result that perhaps is nothing more than an anticlimax?

I too, along with many others are anxious to see the info. But I think we should take Blondie's advice to be patient. There are probably legal matters and other things that we do not know about that have to be done in order to publish the info. so as to avoid any problems, as we well know how the WTBTS will try to do all they can to avoid having their reputation soiled more than it already is......

OH, why don't you "shut up" and wait. I know of the information but just want it presented in the same way it was at the conference and by the original source, Bill Bowen. I won't be bringing the info over here from www.silentlambs.org so you all will have to go there to read it. BTW, you can also sign up to have the SL newsletter sent to your e-mail address, I use a hotmail.com address, and then you will know as soon as it is posted on the SL website. I'm sure the information won't be sensational enough for some of you being ex-JWs and having heard so many WTS experiences on JWD and other ex-JW DBs. I would think that you would want to hold your judgmental remarks till you at least see the information first. BTW how many have been checking the SL site?
